A UK MNC IT localisation services company is currently looking for
Desktop Publishing Specialist
Covering the Asia Pacific region, the incumbent will support the Desktop Publishing
(DT - document creation, style control & layout, formatting) part of the localisation process.
* Performing quality control checks covering all formatting aspects of documents
* Re-create documents (to agreed standards and schedules) to be a complete
representation of the original (unless otherwise instructed)
* Monitor consistency between similar documents
* Work in a cross-language team sharing knowledge and project issues
* Participate in new process development, as well as identify existing process problems.
* Learn and implement new processes and software based on new customer requirements.
* Experience and understanding of how to work with all aspects of MS Word and some
aspects of Excel, other applications such as Pagemaker, Quark Express.
* Possess eye for quality
* Work with different publishing environments
* Flexible and able to multitask
* work well in a team,
* Have a second language capability.
