Requirements :
1) Diploma or Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant Administration experience on Weblogic Application Server and Sun Solaris (Sun Enterprise models). Experience on Win NT Server and Win 2K Server (Active Directory) will be beneficial.
2) Experience in Unix Shell and Perl scripting.
3) Able to pick up new technologies within a short period and adopt to rapid change of environment.
4) Strong tasks and time management skills.
5) Good communication skills.
6) Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
7) Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
8) Must be able to be on 24/7 standby mode.
Job Duties :
1) Provide administration and operations support on Weblogic Application Servers, Sun Solaris, and MS Win NT 4.0 / 2K Servers,.
2) Provide technical support to Application Developers and end-users.
3) Perform systems performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning and maintenance.
4) Pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify systems/ web server related problems.
5) To evaluate and recommend new releases and fix requirements
