Requirements :
1) A Good Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
2) At least 8-10 years experience working in an Enterprise/Regional System environment. Strong technical skills in managing large numbers of UNIX Servers (Sun Solaris & HP Unix).
3) Proficient in Unix Shell and Perl scripting
4) Good inter-personal and communication skills
5) Possess good project management, team leading and problem solving skills.
6) Strong tasks and time management skills
7) Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Job Duties :
1) To lead and manage the resources of internal organisation and external equipment and service providers for the successful implementation of business solutions.
2) To manage a team of Systems Engineers (Unix Administrators).
3) To provide technical support to business and technology users.
4) To administer and maintain existing Enterprise Unix Systems.
5) To perform systems and database performance tuning, capacity planning and maintenance.
6) To evaluate and recommend new releases and fix requirements
7) To carry out documentation for changes or new implementations
