Requirements
1) A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2) At least 3 – 5 years experience in AS/400 administration and technical support.
3) Hands-on experience on Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning.
4) Proficient in TCP/IP and SNA.
5) Novell Netware, NT Servers and/or Unix experience will be beneficial.
6) Preferably Mandarin speaking
7) Good communication and inter-personal skills
Job Duties
1) To administer and maintain existing AS/400 Systems.
2) To provide technical support to Application Developers and end-users
3) To perform systems performance tuning and capacity planning.
4) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify OS/400 related problems.
5) To carry out PTF upgrades (scheduled basis)
6) To assist in new project implementations
