Requirements :
1) A Degree in communications engineering or related field with at least 10 years of IT
working experience.
a) At least 3-4 years in hands-on implementation of WANS.
b) At least 4 years experience in designing wide-area-networking solutions.
c) At least 3-4 years experience in managing large-scale networking projects.
d) Extensive experience in TCP/IP and Telecommunication Networks.
3) Must have experience in working and dealing with vendors and country telcos like SingTel.
4) Experience in a systems or networking integration environment is an added advantage
5) Good inter-personal and communication skills
6) Willing to travel (regional).
Job Duties
1) Project Management - Lead and manage the resources of multiple internal organisations and external equipment and service providers for the successful implementation of customer network solutions.
2) Client Management - Work closely with other team members & client in schedule development, presentation, and execution. Also need to establish partnering relationship with the client and oversee resolution of all project related issues and escalation.
3) Technical Support - Provide technical support to customers and sales channels and global/regional bids and proposals. Ensure the solution and proposal addresses customer technical need and requirements.
4) Opportunity Identification - Identify opportunities in conjunction with sales channel teams.
5) Vendor Management - Represent the company in negotiations with third party vendors and subcontractors and coordinate vendor activities to ensure successful project implementation.
7) Process Development and Improvement - Identify and act upon improvement areas for global/regional network implementation.
