Requirements :
1) At least 1 to 3 years relevant working experience on Server & Desktop Hardware, MS Windows 2000, MS Win NT 4.0, Windows Workstation, Win 9x / 2000 Professional and/or NetWare in an Enterprise or Regional environment. Unix experience will be beneficial. Those with 1 year experience will be considered for Desktop Support Engineer positions. Those with 3 or more years of experience will be considered for Systems Engineer positions.
2) Singaporean.
3) Able to install and configure LAN equipment (Network PCs, Printers, etc).
4) Experience on Veritas, MS Exchange 5.5/2000 / Lotus Notes Server.
5) Experience on Citrix, Legato and SMS preferred.
6) Experience installing and configuring Compaq, HP, IBM and/or Dell Desktops and Servers (especially on RAID and Clustering) will be beneficial.
7) Experience on Routers, Switches, Hubs and Structured cabling, IIS, Firewall or SAN will be beneficial.
8) MCSE and/or CCNA/CCNP preferred.
9) Good communication and inter-personal skills
10) Self-independent and able to work as a team
11) Diploma or Degree Holders
Job Duties :
1) To provide technical support to clients.
2) To implement and support Server, NOS and LAN infrastructure.
3) To provide end-user telephone and on-site support.
4) Install and configure new desktop and printer servers
5) Install and configure Lotus Notes or MS Exchange, browsers and standard off the shelf software.
6) To perform systems and network performance tuning and capacity planning.
7) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify systems and network related problems.
8) To assist in Backup Operations.
9) Evaluation and recommendation of network tools and products to clients.
10) Documentation and provide user-training.
