Requirements :
1) Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with at least 3 years working experience on Enterprise Sun Solaris Systems and banking industry.
2) Proficient in Unix Shell and Perl scripting
3) Experience in RDBMS, NT and/or networking technologies.
4) Possess good project management and problem solving skills.
5) Resourceful team player with good communication skills
6) Able to pick up new technologies within a short period and adopt to rapid change of environment.
7) Strong tasks and time management skills
8) Able to work independently with minimum supervision
9) Sun Solaris certification preferred.
Job Duties :
1) To support new systems implementations.
2) To administer and maintain existing Enterprise Unix Systems.
3) To provide technical support to Application Developers and end-users.
4) To perform systems and database performance tuning, capacity planning and maintenance.
5) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify systems/network/database related problems.
6) To evaluate and recommend new releases and fix requirements
7) To carry out documentation for changes or new implementations
