Our major client has immediate contract opening (1 year or longer and subject to conversion to permanent staff) for the above position. Requirements
1) Singaporean or Singapore PR.
2) At least 2 to 3 years of End-user and Network support experience.
3) Proficient in MS Win 9.x, ME, Win NT /Win2K Servers, Firewall, Sun Solaris, Lotus Notes, Routers and Switches.
4) Hands-on experience on major Hardware brands.
5) MCSE and/or CCNA will be beneficial.
6) Experience in Web-server, SQL Server, Oracle and/or Veritas will be beneficial.
7) Good inter-personal and communication skills
8) Able to pick up new technologies within a short period and adopt to rapid change of environment
9) Strong tasks and time management skills
10) Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Job Duties
1) To provide technical support to end-user (1st and 2nd level PC Support)
2) To carry out LAN/WAN administration, network and systems management.
3) To pro-actively monitor , pre-empt, diagnose and rectify network related problems.
4) Management of Network IDs
5) Backup Operations
6) Evaluation and recommendation of network tools and products
7) Documentation for above tasks as when necessary
