Requirements
1) A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2) Singaporean or Singapore PR
2a) Position A (Manager Level – Permanent and Contract positions)
- At least 5 – 8 years of IT working experience with at least 3 – 4 years of relevant experience on Network Security, Firewall Systems, Mainframe (MVS), Tandem, VAX/ VMS, 0S/400, NT, Netware and/or Unix Security administration and support
- Have good understanding of Systems/Network Security Policies and standards
- Able to lead a team of Security Professionals
- Able to implement suitable Security policies and standards
- Audit experience will be beneficial
2b) Position B (Permanent and Contract Positions)
- At least 3 – 4 years of relevant experience on Network Security, Firewall Systems, Mainframe (MVS), Tandem, VAX/ VMS, 0S/400, NT, Netware and/or Unix Security administration and support
- Familiar with the latest developments in the IT security arena covering the whole spectrum of hardware and software on the PC, client/server and mainframe platform.
- Audit and IT experience will be beneficial.
- Good written, communication and inter-personal skills.
- ISS Certification will be beneficial.
Job Duties
1) To create and maintain new user ids/accounts
2) To support Application Developers and end-users on IT Security aspects
3) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt and rectify security related problems / loop-holes
4) To assist in new project implementations
5) To evaluate and recommend new IT security products/solutions
6) To document new security procedures/setup
7) To advise management on new IT security policies and threats
