Immediate openings (contract and perm) by Major IT / Telco Vendors and Banks.
Requirements
1) A Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2) At least 3 – 5 years experience in LAN/WAN administration and technical support. Experience in MS NT Server, Proxy Servers, Mail systems, MS SQL Server or other RDBMS, High-end Routers & switches.
3) Experience in data communications, TCP/IP and Firewall (CheckPoint, Gauntlet and/or WatchGuard).
4) Hands-on experience on major Hardware brands (eg. Compaq, IBM, HP and /or Dell Servers)
5) MCSE, MCP, CNA, CNE, CCNA, CCDP, CCNP or CLP will be bonus.
6) Novell Netware and Unix experience will be beneficial.
Job Duties
1) To provide technical support to end-user.
2) To carry out LAN/WAN administration, network and systems management.
3) To perform systems and network performance tuning and capacity planning.
4) To pro-actively monitor , pre-empt, diagnose and rectify network related problems.
