Requirements
1) Degree in Computer Science with at least 3 years’ working experience in the management of large Data Centre. Diploma holders with at least 5 years’ working experience can be considered for the position.
2) Experience in Unix Shell and Perl scripts.
3) Experience in Oracle, Unix (Sun/HP), NT and networking technologies.
4) Possess good project management and problem solving skills.
5) Able to work on 24 x 7 rotation shift (42 hours per-week).
6) Resourceful team player with good communication skills
7) Able to pick up new technologies within a short period and adopt to rapid change of environment
8) Strong tasks and time management skills
9) Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Job Duties
1) To execute operational procedures, migration and job requests.
2) To ensure that the operational procedures and standards are adhered to.
3) To perform systems performance tuning.
4) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify systems and network related problems.
