You will be the administrator of our in-house NT server and Internet Information Server 2.0 (IIS). As part of the job, you will
- Perform maintenance jobs to make sure the server is in good condition.
- Maintain user accounts.
- Administer our internet service, e.g daily batch ftp processing.
You will support the users in office automation software including Microsoft Office 95/97, Eudora, Internet Browsers (Netscape and Microsoft), Asymetrix’s ToolBook II. In addition, you will be responsible to develop and maintain our company’s website.
Personal Requirements
You should have
- Minimum polytechnic diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably with 1-2 years experience in Administering NT 3.5/4.0
- PC/Office Automation Software support
- VB, C++, Java or ActiveX programming
Those who have skills above but without the relevant experience will be considered also.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our 7x24NT/UNIX servers, PC & network system administration and security control. He/She will also carry out job scheduling, supervise daily job operations, liaise with vendors and provide user support.
