The Job:
-Lead and manage a group of Technology Consultants in pre-sales activities (including staff welfare, career development, etc)
-Drive the Pre-sales to achieving the sales target together with the Sales team
-Perform product and services strategy for the sales team
-Key liaison to the Sales and Consulting department on the pre and post sales issues
-Champion the Task Force process
-Perform technical qualification on prospective customers
-Principal management in terms of technology/products update and management
-Perform high-level management pre-sales activities such as presentation, business investigation, business strategy with CXOs of prospective customer organisation
-Perform business and technology requirement investigation, scope projects and identify project risk, develop proposals and present proposals.
Requirements
-Degree in technical (IT) discipline
-2to3yrs in client server or web software development, preferably in the project management role
-Excellent awareness in current and emerging technology and market trends
-Good understanding of e-Commerce business concepts and technology, especially on B2B and B2C
-Must have knowledge/experience in:
1)JAva, Object-Oriented, Application Server Technologies
2)RDBMS
3)I3net Infrastructure
4)Network Architecture Design (for INI)
5)Knowldege/experience in any project management methodology is an added advantage
-Experience in project implementation/consulting for e-Commerce project namely I3net Infrastructure, E-Commerce Applications (such as Online selling/procurement, Online Publishing, ISP Hosting) and other web application like e-banking, e-trade etc.
Skills Required:
-Ability to lead, motivate and guide a team of professional in surfing the waves of internet technology
-Skilled in crafting processes and systems of operations efficiency
-Sales-oriented
-Extensive knowledge in business applications, with strong domain understanding in one or more industry (preferably TELCO and FSI, Media)
