TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in designing and developing the look & feel, graphics, and content for a e-commerce Web site
Experience in deployment of scalable Web sites
Demonstrated ability to work in conjunction with a client’s Marketing Department
Experience in the management and improvement of site commerce infrastructure, navigation and third-party commerce vendors
Hands-on knowledge of the following:
Windows 2000 DNA platform
Visual Studio 6.0 – Visual Interdev-Visual Basic, DHTML, HTML and XML
Site Server Commerce Edition v3.0
Active Server Pages (ASPs)
Microsoft Office 2000/Outlook components – Digital Dashboard, Pivot Table Manipulation, FrontPage
BizTalk Jumpstart Kit
ADO 2.5
Excellent interpretive skills
Creative, user sensitive designer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual responsible for the graphical Web site design process including visual design and technical architecture. Working with the client to develop user flows and site structure/map deliverables and translates these deliverables into appropriate visual or technical formats. A focus on personalization is a major plus. The e-User Interface Designer will report to the e-Technical Track Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires an energetic, creative, and experienced web designer. Experience with Microsoft products is a must, knowledge of competitive products is a plus. Design firm experience a plus, a dynamic portfolio is a must.
Prior knowledge of modeling tools such as Rational Rose entity relationship modeling, and developing applications in Visual Basic or Visual C++ is a plus.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired but not required.
