The Senior Web Designer is expected to lead in the creation of client sites by creating web images and graphics, story layouts, HTML files and animations using Photoshop, Illustrator, Director, and Flash applications. The Senior Designer is also expected to further support the Sales Department by creating offline/online sales presentation materials. The Senior Designer will engage in project scheduling and planning, supervise and guide a team of designers and report to the SVP of Product Development on the efficiency of the team.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of 2 - 3 years of graphic design experience / designing for multi-media.
· Formal design training with 1-2 year's minimum of web graphics and design experience. Strong examples on-line.
· Ability to design in a range of styles, but with a specific area of expertise.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Knowledge of the following design packakges. Photoshop, Illustrator, Imageready, GoLive. Dreamweaver, Director, AfterEffects, Freehand, Flash. Experience with User Interface and Information Design is an added advantage.
