Responsibilities
- Managing application software development projects (medium and large scale).
- Manage and document business requirements from users and Development Team
- Manage and ensure compliance of required standards of software quality by adhering to sound testing procedures.
- Systems migration testing, unit testing, systems integration testing.
- Develop and prepare user training documentation and perform end users training
- Institutionalize standards, guidelines, and business processes throughout the project life cycle.
- Prepare and present status of projects to Management
- Perform Standard Software package documentation and customization
Requirements
- Working experience in telco billing systems and customer care systems will have added advantage.
- 2 to 4 years of working knowledge using programming languages e.g. Visual Basic/Java/C++/C
- 2 to 4 years of working knowledge on Relational Database Management systems E.G. SQL, ORACLE, CORBA and Object Oriented DBMS
- Working experience in Software and application development including systems analysis and designed work
- Familiar with Software delivery life cycle – you must at least completed 1 life cycle development of a medium and large size project
- Familiar with Object oriented Design and development methodology
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- Experience in administering MS NT Server, NT Workstation, Windows 95/98, Microsoft Office and Exchange. Or Unix for HP, Sun and Digital platforms.
- Position is available as a 2 years contract staff or Permanent hire
