Responsibilities
- Evaluating daily performance and problem tickets to identify issues requiring escalation
- Coordinating with the Global General Manager and GCSC on routine maintenance schedules, network outages, and major upgrades or enhancements
- Focusing on site-oriented activities, such as break/fix coordination, implementation of new services, and testing /implementation of new locations
- Working closely with the GCSC to communicate network operational status to client during major network upgrades or changes, problem resolution activities, and overall network performance
- Analyzing ongoing requests for moves/adds/changes (MACs) and helping to coordinate vendors equipment, while meeting network service level requirements
- Working closely with client security auditing to monitor security violations of the network
- Managing the Change Management process through the GCSC
Requirements
- Possess a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or relevant field of discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in managing data networks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good negotiating, organisation and decision-making skills
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Management of a large staff and budget, while accountable for end-user satisfaction, fulfilling the obligations and economic conditions of the client.
