Job Function :
To provide systems support and ensure high availability of mission critical IT systems in accordance to the agreed SLA with users.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Provide System Engineering support to Unix, NT and SAN storage systems.
2) Develop shell/Perl scripts to automate system management tasks.
3) Monitor the performance of systems and carry out proactive system performance tuning.
4) Troubleshoot and resolve complex system performance problem.
5) Capacity planning, system expansion and enhancement support.
6) System project implementation.
Technical Skills Required :
1) More than 10 years' hands on experience in Solaris, HPUX, Linux, NT, Oracle administration.
2) Expert in performance tuning for large enterprise systems running Solaris, HPUX and Oracle.
3) Solid skill in writing shell/perl scripts.
4) Good knowledge of MQ Series, Web, proxy and TCP/IP.
Qualification :
1) A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
Experience :
1) At least 4 - 5 years IT Systems Infrastructure experience, like Unix System, Storage, Network Administration.
2) Experience in IT Operations environment essential.
Other Skills :
1) Team Worker with good interpersonal and communication skills.
2) Possess initiative and able to work independently.
3) Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
