Basic Requirements :
A Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent.
At least 1 to 2 years of working experience on PC & Server Hardware, IVR & PABX, basic networking, MS Win 9X / Win2K, MS Win NT Workstation, Win2K Server and/or Standard Software (MS Office, Outlook, Anti-Virus Software, Browsers, etc). Web development, AS/400 and/or Lotus Notes experience will be beneficial.
Must be willing to pick up more technical skills and take up more responsibilities progressively.
Possess positive, friendly and cheerful working attitude.
Excellent communication (especially telephony), inter-personal and written skills.
Customer and service oriented.
Able to work in fast paced environment.
Able to work independently and in a team.
MCSE or CCNA preferred.
Job Duties :
Provide 1st & 2nd level technical support (including helpdesk) to users (ie. Support and trouble-shoot problems related PC & Server Hardware, IVR & PABX, Notebook, PDA, Printer/Print Server, Systems/Networking (hubs, switch, router, firewall) equipment, MS Win 9X, MS Win NT Workstation, Win 2000 Pro & Server, Standard Software, Lotus Notes Clients, In-house Applications, Outlook & Browser problems, SNA, TCP/IP, etc.)
Logging of helpdesk calls and documentation of all user requests and problem resolutions.
Carry out some Systems and Network administration.
Able to lead a team (on-rotation basis).
