PROJECT BRIEF :
IND - TELESOFT PVT. LTD.,
(a). CTI
The project involved computer telephony integration between analog and SS-7.
This is to provide cost effective PC Telephony. The feature used PC telephony
cards supporting MVIP switching. The analog side with 8 lines communicated with
30B + 2D E1 line. The project growth was in NT environment (3 months).
(b) IRIDIUM GATEWAY COMPONENT SIMULATION :
A Motorola project in which each component connected to the gateway is simulated
for testing environment. I was involved in the development of two components.
The GUI used NURON DATA (1 and 1/2 months).
INDIAN TELEPHONE INDUSTRIES LTD
VSAT COMMUNICATION :
(a) Billing Software : A billing software was developed which used a port of a
switch to poll various VSAT nodes, get the counter data parse it and produce a
bill for each node. A database was maintained (6 months).
(b) VSAT HUB Station Network management: Design of customer end networks,
appending it to the VSAT backbone, configuring it and monitoring it. The
exercise included overall hub management including component testing. ( 1 year
8 months)

Cross platform file Transfer
A file transfer program using sockets. A Foxpro file under DOS was transferred
to Ingress under UNIX. This was a L & T Shop floor automation project. The
Foxpro file was only meant to be viewed in the Ingress Window. (8 months)
