We are urgently seeking, for an immediate start, a Senior Experienced Qualified Construction Estimator for both Civil and Building Works.
Ideally the suitable candidate would be not less than 35 years old ( no upper limit ) with a minimum of 7-8 years site experience and latterly that experience put to effect on Tenders and Estimating medium to major sized projects.
The candidate must have a sound experience and understand and be able to work up costs from first principles - not just a gatherer of sub contract prices.
Whilst a degree in construction is desirable, experience and ability are the key factors.
A team player who understands the requirements and hard efforts required to make winning bids.
A salary of between S$ 6,000 and $S 8,000 per month is envisaged for this key post. We are a Major International Construction Group with offices in a large number of the Asean region and part of the largest construction group in the world.
The position is considered as permanent however long term contract would be considered. 2 years minimum. The successful candidate if capable could look forward to the Estimating Manager's position ( mine ) in 5 years.
