Description :
The system is being developed for Nationwide Insurance to take care of various Auto Registration and Home Owners’ policies. It uses a workflow logic which enables the user to go through various ancillary modules for implementing a customer request for insurance policies automatically. As a member of the construction team, apart from the coding involved at
the front end and the back end including writing stored procedures, functions and triggers, I was involved in freezing the specifications from the user related with the Driver Rating algorithm
(for arriving at a quote ) and thereafter implementing it. The application was developed using the concepts of Object Oriented programming and base classes were developed to implement various
operations in the form of User Objects. It was essentially a three tier application utilizing the capability of PowerBuilder 5.0 to interface with OCX controls for data access.

Description : The City of Toledo is currently running a Municipal Income Tax Information System ( MITIS ) to process and distribute local income tax revenues. The functions provided by MITIS include maintaining taxpayers’ information, mailing returns, processing all payments and returns, billing taxes due, assessing penalties and interest, issuing refunds, mailing delinquency notices, preparing court cases and distributing taxes owed to other municipalities by taxpayers.
TUL re-engineered the existing MITIS application to a client/server environment in PowerBuilder/Oracle.

developed in a client server environment using Oracle 7.0 (PL/SQL and Pro*C) and
PowerBuilder 4.0
