SDH/PDH Transmission Engineer for Nokia do Brasil Ltda., Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Contractor for the Netstream Telecom Project
(March 19, 1999 to March 23, 2000)
- Responsible for the installation and commissioning of SDH and PDH equipment including Voice circuits, HDSL and network terminal products.
- Performed Quality Inspection on all installations within client sites.
- Provided technical support and hands-on training for customer personnel and performed 1st/2nd line maintenance.
- Performed network fault finding and troubleshooting. Coordinated with NOC and customer during integration to main network.

- Technical Support Engineer for the KG Telecom GSM1800 micro-cell network. Provided technical support for installation and commissioning personnel. (January 1999 to March 1999).
- Responsible for the installation of Nokia DX200 for the Nokia test bed facility. Duties involved all hardware, cabling and power installations, logistics and coordination with Nokia personnel involved in the project. (December 1998 to January 1999).
- RF Optimization Engineer for the GSM1800 network of KG Telecom (Lucent infrastructure). Coordinated with the network planning team and OMC for the survey of new sites and upgrade of existing sites. Performed drive tests, data analysis, and provided recommendations for BSS and hardware parameter changes. Familiar with TEMS, GIMS, MapInfo, and FICS softwares. (May 1998 to December 1998).
- Responsible for the survey, installation and commissioning of paging equipment for the Glenayre Paging Project. (April 1998 to May 1998).
- Technical Regional Prime Engineer for the installation of Chung Hwa Telecom Switch Sites, DCS1800 project. Installed Nortel DMS100,BSCs and OMCs including all floor installations, cabling, and power. Responsibilities also included logistics and coordination with technical and non-technical personnel in the project. (December 1997 to April 1998).
