Duties & Responsibilities
1. MIS Secretary
Act as a secretary to the department manager but not limited to receiving and recording phone calls from computer users, disseminating problems to concerned supervisors, programmers and technicians, scheduling of meetings and appointments, filing of documents and others.
Preparation of Purchased Requisition (PR) and Withdrawal documents (MMF & MRIF) for spare parts requirements of computer units and peripherals for repair.
Receiving of computer units and peripherals for repair and preparation of in-house repair tag for proper identification and monitoring of repair status of each item.
Preparation, filing and monitoring of Material Movement Form (MMF) for returnable and non-returnable items.
Continuously maintain inventory of computer parts, compact disk and diskettes containing programs and data.
Prepares Material Disposal Request for all unrepairable and non-Y2K compliant units and peripherals of the department.
Coordinated with suppliers and other departments regarding billings, quotations, repairs and services and other matters needed for follow-ups.
Attended to some minor problems and assisted callers and computer users regarding computer programs and applications.
