Pacific Air Command.

support turned disaster relief mission in the Philippines.

Project Management/Equipment Accountability

microwave telecommunication links, an airport surveillance radar microwave relay system, public
address systems, and a Terracom microwave link relay system.
- Acquired the needed equipment for the communications unit to be self sufficient in support of major
accident responses.
- Coordinated massive workcenter move and self-help project. Directed 14 person team in clearing
debris from a 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse and moved over 200 appliances in minus 30 degree weather
saving $70,000 in contractor fees.
- Managed, directed and coordinated scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of base-wide microwave
telecommunication systems, weather and navigational aids, public address systems, digital switches,
and HF, VHF, and UHF radios.
- Supervised and managed security system resources exceeding $4 million in value.
- Supervised and managed deployable Contingency Communications assets exceeding $7 million in
value.
- Project manager for several civilian and government fire safety projects in the state of Alaska.
