VI. Job Description
A. Basic Function
Performance of Line Maintenance Checks; Performs preflight and postflight inspection of company and customer aircrafts; Groundhandling (arrival & departure coverage), support, and operational tasks for both company and customer aircrafts; Performs A-checks, minor repairs, component removal and installation, modification, and troubleshooting of company and customer aircrafts.
B.Responsibilities
Accomplishes regular servicing & maintenance of airframes, engines, and components as required in the maintenance checks in accordance with the procedures and standards set forth in company manuals and manufacturer, customer specifications and applicable government regulations to prevent deterioration and malfunctions in aircrafts.
Determines defects and unsatisfactory conditions present in aircraft and diagnosis the causes to pinpoint areas or systems where corrective actions are needed.
Performs corrective repairs, rigging adjustments of flight controls, or unit replacements consistent with the quality standards set by the company to keep the aircraft in flying condition.
Performs engine and unit changes, troubleshooting and correction of flight remarks and ground remarks on airframe and powerplants to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Accomplishes modification instructions issued by Engineering to satisfy company, manufacturer, customer and government regulatory specifications.
Performs removal and installation of GE CF6-50,Pratt & Whitney JT9 engine and auxiliary power unit(APU).
Signs-off work accomplishments in required company records and accomplishes other forms or paperworks which may be used or needed in the performance of duties.
Executes all work assigned in order to help maximize the utilization of the company's resources of manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities.
Maintains clean and neat working areas at all times and follows all company safety rules and regulations.
