• (b) entering the applicable document name, deadlines and hearing dates on the index cards and on the separate logbook for deadlines/hearings;
• (c) transferring relevant information from the logbook of deadlines/hearing schedules and index cards to the reminder forms;
• (d) preparing the necessary requests for opinion forms;
• Routing all documents, pleadings, letters, fax messages to the parties concerned in the order reflected on the routing bar;
• Reminding the lawyers of forthcoming deadlines and hearing dates;
• Dispatching messengers for filing/delivery/ mailing of documents/pleadings/billings/letters, etc.
• Preparing new matter/client filed folders;
• Performing all other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the partners.
C. Secretarial
• Answer and make phone calls;
• Keep, update and file important documents;
• Remind immediate bosses of his/her appointments and hearings;
• Arranging meetings and making minor decisions;
• Advise clients of the status of their case;
• Typing of pleadings, letters, and other written communications.
