Over two years experience in Local and Wide Area Networks for the Philippine Lottery
covering Visayas and Mindanao regions and currently working in Pacific Online Systems
Corporation, a multinational company, as a Communications Engineer. Well trained by
GTECH Corporation USA, leading lottery provider worldwide in terms of communications
software and hardware technology. Analyzed and resolved complex data communications
problems in 300 nodes/terminals and still expanding. Involve in the initial setting-
up of the lottery network, being one of the pioneers in the company. Install and main-
tain LAN hardware from Front End Processor, Multiport transceivers, repeaters, Asyn-
chronous hubs to Back End Processor. Has technical knowledge in leased line, dial-up
radio and satellite communications.
Has working experience in mainframe like DEC VAX 4000-505A, IBM S/34 and IBM 4680 Store
system and PC Windows NT in an online real time processing with OpenVMS 6.11, SSP, OS/2
and windows NT operating systems.
Familiar with a variety of information transmission protocols such as V.35, V.32/RS232,
G.703, SDLC/HDLC, and TCP/IP. Has handled various responsibilities like in-house cabling
and on-site testing and installation of terminals. Currently working on shift and do
travel when there is installation.
