Assigned to various communications companies namely NTELOS, USA; Vesper Telecoms, Brazil; and AT&T Canada, Canada to implement and maintain a Customer Care and Billing System.
Significant achievements were:
· Worked as a business, system, conversion and test analyst to the various communications companies in implementing and migrating legacy systems to ICMS, a customer care and billing system developed by IBM. The work involved interviewing users to determine their requirements, documenting and evaluating existing business processes, analyzing various billing system’s and providing best solutions to fit their business.
· Prepared and executed test cases/scripts for user acceptance testing that involved recording and correcting errors by coordinating with the development team to ensure system usability
· Recommended several alternative work solutions that saved the clients $100,000’s in software modifications and enhancements.
Other responsibilities:
· Prepared and wrote different documents: Business Processes and Procedures, User Requirement Specifications, Technical Specifications, Work/Process Flows and User/Training Manuals.

IT Specialist/Project Lead
IBM is the owner of ICMS (Integrated Customer Management System), a customer care and billing system running in the AS/400.
Significant achievement:
· Led a team of business analysts in implementing ICMS to various communications companies in the Philippines like Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), Eastern Telecommunications Philippines Inc. (ETPI) and SMART Communications.
· Provided the IBM Project Executive team with project reports to ensure the projects is delivered on time thus keeping the project within budget.
Other responsibilities:
· Wrote various documentations on the Software Development Life Cycle of ICMS that includes:
- Gap Analysis Document
- User Requirements Specification Document

IIC (Indotronix Int’l, Corp.) Sept 1997 to May 1998
Business Consultant

Assigned to Lucent Technologies in Saudi Arabia to assist Saudi Telecoms (STC) in the implementation of an of-the-shelf customer care and billing system called Integrated Customer and Management System (ICMS). Significant achievements were:
· Provided overall coordination and liaison with STC in representing their technical views for the TEP6 billing project. The work included:
- Customizing system parameters according to user requirements
- Documented and evaluated business procedures and recommended improvements and/or innovation that best fit their workflow requirements
- Supervising the development of the customer specification's document (CSD) that includes translating the functional, technical, training and operational requirements of STC into a CSD,
- Gathering and documenting of user requirements,
- Provided user training to various user groups in STC
· Recommended implementation, migration and change management strategies to the vendor (IBM) for the timely implementation of the project.
Other responsibilities:
· Provided assistance to IBM Business Analysts to ensure the timely delivery of the system to STC
· Supported computers users in various possible ways as needed.

Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) March 1988 – Sept 1997
Production/Data Center Operations Support Head
PLDT is the largest telecommunications company in the Philippines with franchise in both voice and data communications. It has over 3 Million wire line and wireless lines. Most significant achievement was:
· Project leader of the billing team that Implemented an of-the-shelf customer care and billing system from IBM New Zealand. The application included usage processing, product management, customer care, credit monitoring and collection and financial reports. The successful implementation of the project saved the company millions in service and maintenance costs.
· Documented and evaluated business processes and recommended the appropriate improvements and/or innovations in accordance to their business objectives
Other responsibilities:
· Managed the production support group with 5 staff members.
· Formulated policies to ensure the integrity of the billing cycle process runs. This included:
- Customizing billing parameters and business procedures to fit their workflow requirements,
- Ensuring that the computer inputs are complete
- Providing the appropriate production parameters
· Managed the subscriber billing cycle allocation vis-à-vis capacity and performance of the computer billing production stream from toll processing up to the bill printing and distribution.
· Enforced the integrity of the outsourced bill printing and distribution including controls that vendors must follow.
· Supported different users in various ways as needed.
