General Work Description:
Secretary to Elementary School Assistant Principal.
Perform duties that are a mixture of keyboard, clerical, and other confidential support duties within a variety of school seeting under routine direction.
Receives instruction or work to be undertaken but are required to work independently in the completion of tasks.
This position level encompasses a combination of operational and administrative activities, which would generally involve keyboard and work processing support services and the maintenance of school records.

Maintains and updates the Elementary School Asst. Principal's appointment book, records, and other documents.
Provide effective clerical, keyboard, and office management support to the Principal Class/Coordinator and other staff within the school. Ensures high personal proficiency in the use of computer technology.
Enter, retrieve, and obtain reports from the school computer system.
Undertake reception duties. Acts as a front person in the office in assisting students, parents, faculty, and staff
Coordinates meetings and functions
Maintain and update office and administrative systems within the school
Prepares and distributes Student Handbook, Parent Curriculum Handbook, and ES Master Schedule
Undertake a range of basic investigation and research task
Provide advice and assistance to office assistant

General Responsibility:
Performs general secretarial work for all Elementary School Faculty. Assists the ES Faculty in preparing instructional materials, letters, newsletters, publication, etc.
Responsible for Elementary School and inter-office communications. Receives phone calls for faculty and delivers messages for both faculty and students. In-charge of receiving, sorting and deliveing mail for and from ES.

Monitors office forms accessibility in Faculty Services Office
Orders supplies and follows up on job requests of faculty from other offices
Develops and updates the Telephone Tree
Oversees the distribution of Student Yearbook
SKILLS
Have excellent communication skills in English and Filipino, both verbal and written, including the ability to draft letters and papers independently.
Ability to be level-headed and could easily suggest solutions to a conflict/problem specially in the midst of stressful situations
Ability to work effectively in an environment with a multi-cultural setting. Has extensive exposure in working with people of different nationalities.
