Objective:
I would like to work in an environment where learning and
sharing knowledge on emerging technologies is a continuous process,
and helps me to grow with the company.
Achievements:
* Was in the top 30 ranks in SSLC.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering,
S.B.M.S.I.T,Bangalore from Visveswaraiaha Technological University,
1998 -2002, DCA is 68%, final year is 73%.
* 1997- 1998 completed my Pre University degree [PUC] from
Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
* 1995- 1996 completed my SSLC from The New Cambridge English School,Bangalore.
Result: 92% with Distinction.
SKILLS
* Operating Systems : Unix (Linux),Windows 9X, NT, MS-DOS 6.2
* Languages : C , C++ ,Java, Assembly Language ( 8086),
8051,68HC11,VHDL, SystemC.
* Scripting : HTML, JavaScript.
* Protocols : TCP/IP, ATM
* Technical Knowledge : VLSI, Digital Electronics,Power Electronics.
* Hardware Platforms : Intel x86.
Projects undertaken:
Current Project:
Project Name : Implement Direct Digital Synthesizer[DDS] using
PIC MicroContoller
Module Name : Implementation of DAC.
Role : Designer .
Client : HFCL,India.
Description:
The term "DDS" applies to an active electronic device that accepts
a reference frequency and then generates one or more new frequencies
as commanded by the control word whereby the stability, accuracy and
spectral purity of the output correlates with the performance of the
input reference.
Responsibilities:
* Design of the DDS circuit which comprises of Adder, DAC, D-FlipFlop,
and PIC 16F870
* Implement the DDS circuit.
Project Name : Implement X- Structures using SystemC
(8x8 ATM switch)
Role : Programmer.
Client : IISc,India.
Description:
The hardware that implements one of the switching state in the
ATM switch,is called as the X-Structure and forms the basic building
block of the switch.An 8x8 ATM is designed using two planes of
X-Structures and a multiplexer-demultiplexer pair. The MUX is a 2->1
multiport multiplexer.It multiplexes two sets of four input ports to
the appropriate switch planes. Similarly DMUX is a 1->2 multi-port
de-multiplexer. It demultiplexes two set of four input ports from the
switching planes to appropriate output ports.
Responsibilites:
* Programming the switch using SystemC.
Academic Project:
Project Name : MICROCONTROLLER (8051) BASED REMOTE TEMPERATURE
SENSOR AND CONTROLLER.
Role : Developer.
Client : SBMSIT, Bangalore.
Description:
MICROCONTROLLER (8051) BASED REMOTE TEMPERATURE
SENSOR AND CONTROLLER has 2 units:
1.Sensor unit
2.Master control unit
Sensor unit consists of a PT100 probe, which senses the
temperature and converts it to its equivalent resistance value,
which is then fed to an Op-Amp circuit to obtain the voltage
equivalent, which is then converted to frequency for transmission
to MCU.
The MCU will do the reverse operation from frequency to voltage
[F2V]. After this the Microcontroller compares the current
temperature value with the threshold value that is set. If the given
temperature limit is exceeded, the control unit switches off the
device under consideration.
Project Name : CORDLESS INTERCOM.
Role : Developer.
Client : S.B.M.S.I.T, Bangalore.
Description:
CORDLESS INTERCOM is a mobile device that uses "Live & Neutral"
wires used for communication with another CORDLESS INTERCOM, the
range being 70m which can be expanded.
Responsibilities:
* Design and implementation of the cordless intercom.
Personal Traits:
Can easily adjust to any new environment
Enjoy teamwork and can shoulder additional responsibility willingly.
Hobbies:
Web page design,Quizzing, BasketBall.
Extra-Curricular:
Indian Classical Dance- Bharatanatyam.
Have qualified for senior grade dance examination held by
Govt. of Karnataka.
Have performed in Doordarshan (India's National Channel)
Have given Govt. performances through ICCR, Directorate
of Kannada and Culture.
