I have the honor to apply for a Lawyer position with the Legal Department for any bank. I am a retiree of Philippine National Bank (PNB) Legal Department after twenty two (22) years stint with the Bank. At the time of my retirement which took effect on January 31, 2002, (Special Separation Incentive Plan) I am holding the position of Manager (SG26).
In 1997, I was designated as Manager and Head of the Foreclosure Group, Legal Department. With only two (2) Lawyers under my supervision and still handling litigation functions (hearing on application for temporary restraining order/preliminary injunction), we were able to reduce PNB’s past-due accounts to the tune of P12 Billion (1997-2000).
Likewise, as a Litigation Lawyer, I was a recipient of various commendations from the erstwhile Chief Legal Counsel/Supervisors of PNB Legal Department.
