CAREER OBJECTIVE:
I wish to become a Design Engineering professional and will take up higher responsible job in achieving the company business goals. I wish to join a company, which will recognize my hidden talent. I wish to render the knowledge I have gained during my past experience and self confident to fulfil the needs of the management.
I am working at present at QuEST (Quality engineering and software technology Pvt. Ltd.) as a project leader and responsible for heavy fabrication design and detail engineering of various fabrication products, like diffuser ducts, Inlet plenum, Inlet and exhaust system which are used in Thermal Power Plant. Apart from the above activity I am executing the 2 stage and 3-stage nozzle project for GE Power, USA. Coordinating with our QuEST USA office. Also doing detail-engineering work for Emerson, USA. I am basically a Diploma in Mech.Eng.with 15 years of experience in various engineering Industries. I stood first for the college in Draughts man mechanical course. I have also done a specialization course in Tool Design. I have worked in the design department of SAN Eng. and Locomotive co. ltd. and got expertise in design and detail engineering work of Locomotive and Gearbox manufacturing. I have worked in R&D of Wipro Fluid power and got expertise in design and detail engineering of huge Hydraulic cylinder for steel plant, machine tool and Dam gate opening closing application. I have worked in Chemtex consulting of India ltd. to get expertise in Pressure vessel and storage tank detail engineering using PDS (Plant design system) software. I have been trained in CATIA, Pro/E, & Auto cad, and worked towards 6 sigma concepts, ISO-9000, World class manufacturing activities.

ITI in Draughtsman Mechanical : 78%
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. : 54%

WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. Currently working in QuEST ( Quality Engineering and Software Technology ), As a
Design Analyst / Project Leader (A US based ISO 9002 Company). (02-06-2000 to till date)
Nature of work: Performing Analysis on Turbine related components and power Generation components by making 3D Modeling and Meshing using ANSYS, Hypermesh, And Unigraphics Software.
Performing Design and Fabrication detail Engineering work for Turbine related accessories like Diffuser duct, Inlet Plenum, Bleed heater pipe, Load compartments and Gas turbine enclosures. Design of Support structures, Acoustic wall panels, Detail engineering of bypass stack, Transition piece, Extension piece, 2 stage and 3 stage turbine nozzles, motor components, air craft parts etc. The job Involves Designing, Sizing the components. Detailing, Preparation of BOM, Cut sheet layouts for optimization of material. Etc. Converting GE design drawings/General arrangement drawings to Fabrication detail Engineering drawings in conformance to GE drawings and specifications. Work will be performed in line with GE's Six Sigma Concepts. Also involves Checking the design and drawings for manufacturability with respect to Country codes / Standards.
Coordinating with US people in fabrication work for the Inlet Plenum and Diffuser duct, Also working towards setting up of a Heavy Engineering manufacturing unit in Bangalore. (Project Planning )
2. Worked in Chemtex Consulting of India Ltd. as Design Engineer ( 1 Year 8 months ).
Nature of work: Preparing detail-engineering drawings along with bill of material for
Pressure vessels and storage tanks. Preparing Structural drawings and checking the drawings for manufacturability.
3. Worked in WIPRO FLUID POWER, an ISO 9001 Company, as Design Associate (5 years)
Nature of work: Inquiry processing and making proposals & installation drawings.
Preparation of Design layouts of huge hydraulic cylinders along with Cost sheets.
Order processing in which manufacturing drawings and bill of material released to
Production, Planning, Materials and Qc departments.
Preparing Assembly drawings, Sub assembly drawings, detail engineering drawings
And check assembly drawings for various huge cylinders along with bill of materials.
Material selection and performing design calculations.
4. Worked in SAN Engineering and Locomotive Co.Ltd. As Draughtsman ( 5 Years ).
Calculating and drafting of custom designed Gearboxes of various types viz. Single,
Double, triple reduction gearboxes.
Worked on Installation drawings, Preparation of Locomotive bodies fabrication drawings.
Hood structures, cabin drawings, Engine mounting, Transmission mounting arrangement
Drawings, Fuel tank mounting, Radiator mounting, Wheel and axle assemblies and Torque
Converter assembly & mounting drawings etc. Allotment of assembly and part drawing numbers, modification of drawings & control of drawings.
