As a Production Engineer my responsibilities are to lead, motivate and supervise 100 group of production operators and line leaders to ensure that all operation activities are done according to specifications, target quality output are met, and to ensure that they are working in a free-hazard environment.
My other duties and responsibilities are as follows.
·Coordinate with process Engineering Group to
continuously evaluate man, machine, materials,
and method to maximize productivity and improve
efficiency.
·Recognize process “bottleneck” and Improve present
line set-up by devising ways to shorten tact
time (line balancing) and reduces NG occurrences.
·Reducing wastage and production cost
·Does Failure Analysis- coordinate with QA for
Quality Issues and nonconformance, lot outs NG
and make effective corrective action or
countermeasure.
·Take measure or immediate action for any
production abnormality-NG triggering points.
·Prepare direct and indirect materials monthly
consumption.
·Monitor all quality records such as P-chart, Check
sheets /Datasheets, Daily Output Report, X-
charts.
·Prepare Standard Operating Procedure and follow up
to documentation
·Train new operators and design and implement
programs for continuous cross-training program
for other operators
·Attend Company productivity report
·Attend to subordinates personal matters with
regards to discipline, evaluations (for re-
contract and probationary status incase of
contractual operators)
·Generate, Submit production schedule plan based on
the requirements including manpower allocation,
overtime, shifting schedule and needed manpower
both in-line and off-line operators.
·Coordinate to other support division or department
concerning material defects and shortage,
schedules, machine downtimes and other
requirement needed to ensure continuous
operations.
