Job Description
Monitor and arrange schedules on preventive and remedial
maintenance of all IBM Tellering Machines handled under
maintenance contract.
Ensure 24 hours 7 days a week availability of service
engineers for clients' continuous machine operation.
Initiate the dispatch of field engineers in answering clients'
service calls.
Provide technical assistance thru telephone any engineer
that encounters problem on the field in trouble shooting a
machine.
Initiate check up and repair of the interconnected banking
teller terminals computer hardware.
Study all documented machine problems and corresponding
solutions and disseminate information to all field engineers.
Visit all the accounts as scheduled and talk to the clients to
establish good working relation.
Submit a weekly report for the service call activities.
Perform preventive maintenance on IBM tellering
machines on different bank clients under maintenance
contract.
Perform trouble shooting on field of IBM hardware
problems and provides assistance on isolating
telecommunications failure of the machine to its
corresponding network.
Conduct circuit board-to-board repair using electronic test
equipment. That is, testing all possible integrated circuit
(IC) chips, capacitors, diodes, resistors, and other
electronic components on the circuit board that might
cause the roblem.
Keep up to date to the discussion o the problem
experienced in the field by the other engineers during meeting.
Assemble clone PCs and ran diagnostic testing.
Hard disk formatting and installation of the operating systems (DOS,
Windows, OS/2) and applications for computers ready for
delivery after sale.
Perform preventive maintenance on client's personal
computer network.
Perform Local Area Networking layout and installation on
a PC based computer system. Handled PC hardware trouble
shooting at field.
Provide monthly report for all clients using IR system
for billing purposes.
Analyze and edit certain bugs encountered in a FoxPro
based program called IR System. Update reports in IR
System database.
Provide assistance through analizaton of problems
encountered in Cyrstal Reports used by te Accounting .
Department, which is an SQL based program
Provide assistance on network and hardware problems
encountered by computer users in the company.
Maintain an NT based server in the Accounting Department
for a 24 hour on line usage.
