WORK AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
i) October 1986 ..August 1990 & October 1993 - Till
today
During this period I worked as an Engineer (Post -
last held : Executive Engineer) in the Research and
Development of the Indian Telephone Industries,
Bangalore-560 016, India and then as Assistant -
Manager in Delhi and Chandigarh units of the same
industry.As Engineer the principal job function was
the design and development of different optical,
digital and microwave communication systems and
subsystems. In particular, different aspects of the
following areas were dealt with:
a) 8 Mbit/s optical (digital) receiver system.
b) Design of different filters and couplers operating
around 6 GHz.
c) Development of frequencies using PLL for the Band
response Testing equipment for the evaluation of
quality of speech for telephones.
d) Some design aspects of 140 Mbit/s Coherent Optical -
Fiber Communication systems.
e) Design (CAD) of fixed equalizers for the 2.6 MHz
Coaxial systems.
f) Testing of second order multiplexers.
ii) Research experience of one and a half years in the
field of fiber optics communication in persuasion
of study of M.Tech.(mentioned above)at the Indian -
Institute of Technology, Delhi / India.
iii)Research experience of 3 years at King's College
London Strand, London, in the following fields:
a) Current sensing through magnetic shielding of

I have a lot of interest in cricket, table-tennis,
volleyball, football & other sports. Though not a

games, I like to play chess & carom.
My favorite pastimes are reading & travelling.
My work is my hobby. It gives me great pleasure to
take initiative in any field which I find quite
