? Administered more than 22 UNIX boxes of SAMBA in their Production

? Ensured the prompt and error-free implementation of the migration
project from the old PERKIN ELMER to the new SUN UNIX
machines. The migration was a milestone in SAMBA's history since it
was a major movement of the bank's IT infrastructure.
? Ensured that additional functionalities are added to the UNIX's security
to comply with Citicorp's Standards and Policies. As a result, SAMBA
had increased its Audit Rating from 2 to 4. Highest possible rating is 5.
? Designed and implemented a UNIX disaster recovery plan for SAMBA.
? Wrote shell scripts which are used for daily backups/restore and system
operation tasks.
? Coded shell scripts for the generation of daily system statistics for upper
management.
? Monitored system response time, and identified and resolved system
bottlenecks to ensure acceptable response times and avoid system down
time.
