Major Accomplishments
- Dramatic reduction of 22 PM Pilot teams on breakdown reduction after after completion of PM Step's 1-3 as per JIPM Consultant, total of 237 Breakdowns for the month of October 2000 finally reduced to only 4 by August 2001
- Likewise dramatically improved the pilot's fan-out machines comprising of 272 fan-out machines with breakdown of 443 as of Jan 2001 to only 2 as of Sept 2001
- Conducted 3 day full blown training on RCM2 to less than 300 maintenance people which is if done outside will cost around P 6,000,000 or $ 115,000.00
- More comprehensively, have success implementing RCM2 on Amkor's Facilities
sub-stations and AHU. This sub-station generates power supply on operations and breakdowns are critical as they can stop operations. Facilities BDO were reduced from 26 as of Q1, 2000 to 0 as of Q32000
- Completion of PM Step 4 dad dramatically resulted in great amount of savings and lenghten lifespan of critical spare parts as their inherent design weakness had been improved
