Responsible for medical transcription within the office setting from recorded dictation including histories, physicals, OP reports, discharge summaries, consultations, radiology, pathology, non-invasive studies, special progress notes, EEG and stress tests. Edits, sorts and files copies of transcribed information. Provides secretarial support. May work alternating weekends or shifting schedules depending on work demands and/or bulk of jobs. Medical Terminology and typing skills of 45-65WPM. Minimum 6 months medical transcription experience, currently on my 1 year and 5 months work as medical transcriptionist. Have an eye for detail and the ability to work independently and responsibly. Have excellent interpersonal skills.
