Professional Background
Total experience of around five years in Cellular Service Industry (GSM RF Network Planning) & mainly work on Nokia GSM system but flexible to work with any GSM or CDMA vendors.
Currently working at Fascel Ltd (A JV of Hutchinson Telecom), GSM Operator in Gujarat, India as a key member of RF Network planning team & reporting to Sr. RF Manager & responsible for GSM cellular network & Transmission network design, rollout & optimization.
December 1999 onwards:
As a RF Engineer from December 1999 onwards working with Fascel Ltd., GSM Cellular Operator of Gujarat state, INDIA.
Current Key responsibilities
· GSM Network planning of new areas & sites (more than 150 sites of last year and 70 sites of present year including macro, micro & Pico cell )
· Handling of capacity, coverage & Quality issues in the network keeping a tab on overall cost
· Network dimensioning, optimization, improving QoS & customer satisfaction
· Evaluation, trials & implementation of new techniques & products.
· Optimization of Network & finding week points using drive test tools and correcting them.
· Recommending network changes in orders to fine tune the Radio Parameters.
· Performance analysis of network and individual cells using Planning tool & Network Doctor.
· Planning of intra-city access network & inter-city transmission backbone network including site surveys, LoS surveys, Loop & other topology planning.
· Network Rollout & Budgeting
· Responsible for automation for various type of required data and records using Unix shell script and excel macros to reduces human error and time loss.
· In house trainer for GSM system, Optimization process, Drive Test system, Repeater system & BSS Parameter.
September 1997 to December 1999:
As a Drive tester & customer support engineer from September 1997 to 1999,worked with the same organization (Fascel Ltd.) GSM Cellular Operator of Gujarat state, INDIA.

· Conducting Drive tests in own network as well as competitor and analyzing the results for comparison.
· RF Coverage data collection using CW measurement tool for model tuning of NPSX planning tool.
· Analysis & Validation of BSS Elements and parameters.
· site audit for verification of physical parameter in network.
· Repeater site selection & LoS verification.
· Handling Customer complains regarding coverage problems and providing suitable solutions for increase customer satisfaction.
· Created GIS base user-friendly route layers on digital maps for carrying out drive test in major cities.
