Job wishes
I would like to work in or near Manila, Philippines. A position which requires some travel is acceptable.
My employment experience to date consists of computer related jobs, which is
what I am best at. However, I would not mind other activities related to my engineering education.
I take practical approaches to problems, but also have the capacity and desire
to understand underlying theoretical concepts. My ideal job is one in which I
can apply my computer skills in technically challenging situations. I fully
believe there is nothing I can't do with computer software if I put my mind to it.

1977 - 1986 Danish public school
1986 - 1989 Danish high school
1989 - 1995 Master of Science in Engineering, DTU (Technical University of Denmark)
My engineering education consisted of about 1/3 computer science, 1/3 mathematics and 1/3 statistics and operations analysis.
I finished my Masters degree at the age of 23, which is earlier than usual in Denmark.
Employment
1995 - 2000 Krüger A/S in Copenhagen, Denmark
At Krüger, I worked with an advanced control system for wastewater treatment
plants called STAR. My activities included maintenance, development and
installation of the computer system. For a long time I was the only employee in the STAR group with computer expertise, and so I made many of the decisions myself. The STAR system was originally based on SCO Unix, but I later converted it to Linux. The core of the product was written in C++ with a web based user interface which I developed.
2000 - present: Tele2 A/S, Copenhagen, Denmark
I am now working as a software developer at the UNI2 division of Tele2 A/S in Denmark. We are mainly working on Linux based computers and developing using perl, MySQL and internet technologies. There has also been some development with Java and C++.
2001: Own IT consultant company
In 2001 I established my own small computer consultant company. I considered this mainly as a hobby since I work full time for Tele2 A/S. I have closed the company since I wish to move to the Phillipines.
1998 - now: Microsoft Windows system administrator
In my spare time, I have been installing and administering a small Microsoft
based computer network. I do this for free since it is for a friend's company.
