WORK EXPERIENCE
After graduating College, I was exposed to my parents business. One was their Bakery, another was a small grocery and the other was the rice mill. My time was mostly consumed in the bakery to manage the bakers on what to bake for the day. On my spare time, I stay at the grocery as a cashier.
The time when my parents lay low on making money they gave me the bakery business. Here in this small business I learned more about dealing with the daily routine of manufacturing / baking breads and pastries.
In my days of training in the caregiver course for more than six months I learned and experienced on caring the sick, the babies and toddlers, disabled person and the elderly. We had been trained to do some of the personal services to a patient. Like keeping the patient clean and well groomed, Assisting patients in their elimination, voiding of their wastes. Keeping patient dry and comfortable in case of excessive sweating. As a caregiver It is our duty to administer medicines and do some basic treatment as prescribe by the doctor, nurse, and health worker. It is our main concern to recognize the patients health problem and comfort. These are some of the experiences that I had encountered in our training in hospitals, clinics and hospice.
