Network Deployment Engineer For New Edge Networks I installed, commissioned and maintained Newbridge 36170/350/3600 for our ATM Network primarily selling DSL service. Additional equipment Hekimian Coppermax, Adtran M13 and Siecor POTS Splitter. Performed Test & Turn-up of DSL, DS1, DS3, OC3 circuits in the field and the NOC. Software upgrades. Locally Managed and Supervised installations. Provided company field training for Installation vendors (EF&I). Supported Engineering by auditing procedures and testing configurations in R&D Lab. Wrote wiring procedures for our installation manual. Set up Test Bench and Tested returned equipment for faults.
Lead Installation Technician Installed Newbridge 36170, 3600, 3645, Alcatel ADSL1000 and Lucent Any Access Media switch (peripheral 5ESS SW) and intermediate BDFB’s. Installed first 17 nodes for New Edge Networks. Performed site survey’s, wrote MOP’s, Quality Checks, Power Cuts. Trained apprentice personnel.
Installation TechnicianInstalled Alcatel 1630, 1631, 1633, 1680 DACS. Installed and terminated all wiring. Built Auxillary structure for cabling and rack support. Worked in the Lab “Area 51” on a prototype “growth beyond wired size” 1631 DACS with Engineers to test and locate errors for R&D.
