- Designed and implemented the whole database system, and majority of the network and web application system of 1stNameIT.com, a subsidiary startup Internet company of VitaACE. The system included customer registration, e-mail and URL forwarding, web-mail, address book and Internet file storage.
* Used Java, JavaServer Pages, JDBC, JavaMail, shell scripts for the application system and PostgreSQL for the database.
* Personally installed, configured and maintained a RedHat Linux machine with Apache Web Server, Jakarta-Tomcat, qmail, BIND DNS, Courier IMAP, PostgreSQL, SSH and other system applications. The web and DNS servers were configured for mass virtual hosting.

- Part of a consulting team tasked to design and implement the initial phase of the Economic Environment System, a nationwide online database system for the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
* Designed the database to include data for thousands of economic variables and developed the whole system using Java, JavaServer Pages and JDBC on a machine running Windows 2000 with IIS, Jakarta Tomcat and Oracle 8i.
* Due to the success of the pilot system, preparations to expand the system to all the Philippine regions are already underway. The planned expansion is geared towards strengthening NEDA's planning capability by improving the data exchange between the central and all regional offices. The system is also expected to become the main data storage system of the agency.
