• Lead the consolidation of GE Global Signaling and GE Transportation IT teams. This was the
combining of the Global Signaling network, server, Telecom and desktop team into the GETS team with
effective use of resources from GETS. Effectively eliminating my position and saving the business
1.5 million dollars.
• Six Sigma Project Management, Black Belt Certified within six months.
• Creation and implementation of Change Control for Global Signaling and GE Medical Systems. This project took Global Signaling and Medical Systems from a state of no control and reporting of changes to a mandatory approval and tracking plan. An Oracle Database now tracks changes and troubleshooting of change related issues have been reduced by 83%.
• Implementation of the IT Service request form. This form and its use enabled Global Signaling to prioritize; track and bill back project requests from the business units.
• Creation of the End Users support Forum. This forum involved the end user community in IT
rollouts, projects and created a beta test group.
• Mentored 15 IT Staff in Six Sigma training and certification for GreenBelt.
• Establishment of outsourced for Global Signaling and Medical Systems tier one and tier two support teams for a saving of $750,000 per business unit.
