a) Optimization of Interconnectivity of wired Network (star topology) and wireless Network(satellite communication) to build an ERP Network of ATM
Mesh Backbone Using Opnet Tools
Abstract:The main aspect of the project was to build an enterprise resource planning network using OPNET tools which uses ATM complete mesh backbone topology.The backbone consists of six ATM switches each connected to a subnet.Each subnet has an interconnectivity of topologies as this project deals with interconnectivity of star and satellite communication.It was tested under combined form of load as data,voice,video(i.e convergence of information).The network was optimized to work under these conditions.

b) Performance evaluation of FDDI Protocol.
Abstract:The project was to study the behaviorial performance of FDDI protocol.The throughput,delay and link utilization of a FDDI-based system have been analysed with different parameters like Propagation delay,Number of station.

c) Building a Company’s intranet.
Abstract:The project was mainly to interconnect two floor of a Company using Star topology and to analyze the Statistics for a optimum network’s performance.The final deducing result was that there was not significant increase in the Ethernet delay on the network.While the server load was increased ,the overall delay of the network was not.

d) Modeling a Local-area-Network(LAN).
Abstract:The Project was mainly to model a Organisation’s Wan.The Organisation has offices in three different cities in India which are connected to the central network in the Capital of India.The offices were interconnected to each other by Phone lines and the aim was to determine how the background traffic was affecting the e-mail traffic on their network.
