RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of individual system mark-ups and system definitions detailing all system components. Co-ordinate and define punch-listing activities leading to system turn-over from Foster Wheeler Construction to Foster Wheeler Commissioning. Supervise compilation of Electrical & Instrument system turn-over dossier as QC certification is produced at the completion of construction activities. Evaluate vendor documents required for client vendor pack acceptance. Co-ordinate with ICT SPEX / PHC witnessing electrical activities like hi-pot test , ductor test and megger test of switch gear, components functional test, cable tray installation, cable trench preparation and back-filling, installation of electrical panels including glanding and termination and conduct team inspection prior to system energisation. Assist in the inspection of lighting circuits, inspection of cathodic protection for tanks and under ground piping. Participate in witnessing control valve stroking using field bus interface software, calibration of gauges , transmitters, switches, panel and JB installation including cable glanding, termination testing and loop checking in co-ordination with ICT SPEX / PHC Instrument Engineers . Co-ordinate with FW Engineering Dept. regarding the documentation of technical queries and field instructions. Keep work quality on site and on documentation through training’s and seminars. Conduct Electrical/Instrument documentation audit to subcontractor together with Construction Superintendent, Site Engineer and QC Manager. Assist in investigation of electrical / instrument work or equipment which do not meet SPEX standard and specification. Co-ordinate with FW Engineering and Contractor representative to produce As-Built Drawings. Update electrical / instrument documentation status using the client specified database software and produce progress report.

Job Description :
Day to day co-ordination of the Electrical and Instrumentation personnel at client’s work site and allocation work tasks. Interpretation of client workscope, drawings and specifications. Supervision of E&I personnel and allocation of work and responsibilities. Provide technical guidance and help to E&I personnel. Submit requisitions to procure materials in accordance with company procedures. Completion of all “As-Built” drawings and information as well as client’s and company’s QA/QC documentation. Attend in-house progress meetings as required. Provide accurate feed back as to progress of work, manpower and equipment status. Keep up to date with modern techniques and practices in the fields of instrumentation and electrical disciplines, particularly in relation to standards of installation and maintenance of equipment in industrial and hazardous area environments. Maintaining discipline of personnel under my control. Promote team working within the E&I department. Identify training and development needs of individuals and make recommendation to superintendent for action. Perform any other task, to the best of my ability that the management from time to time request.

Job Description :
Total supervision on electrical and instrument hook-up. Lead a group of E/I personnel to carry-out fabrication of supports , calibration and of instruments, cable pulling, glanding, termination and testing . Check hook-up materials conformable to clients standard and specification. Expedite associated paper works to facilitate the delivery of materials thru supply boats or earliest chopper. Interface with other discipline and vendors to ensure the correctness of the specification of non free-issue materials required for a particular hook-up. Counter check materials delivery receipts, quantity, and specification. Maintain good condition of materials kept on store. Keep track , record, and conduct inspection to avoid material shortages including consumables. Prepare progress report and system hand-over package.

Position : Instrument Supervisor
Location : Qatar Gas LNG Project

Job Description :
Supervision on calibration and installation of various process instruments, analyzer sampling and calibration rack, instrument panels, junction boxes, and control units . Routing of cable trays, and associated supports. Cable pulling, glanding, termination and testing. Air piping, steam tracing, control valve hook-up and analyzer tubing. Prepare test sheets and acceptance dossier of Instrument Systems. Monitor punch-list rectification and work in parallel with QC team to keep punch item at minimum. Co-ordinate and interface with vendor and other discipline for the client documentation acceptance requirements. Prepare progress reports, assist in preparation of hand-over documents including as-built drawings and up-date instrument database.
