Assist in the preparation of pleadings, petitions, motions or any legal papers in courts and other government agencies and furnished parties with copies thereof.
Monitors prompt and proper filing of pleadings, motions, schedule of hearings, as well as follow-up status of cases, reply to demand letters and judicial notices.
Prepares list/matrix of assignments handled by supervising lawyers and always keeps tract of the action taken, status and the following steps needed to accomplish said assignments.
Processes and facilitates payments of filing fees, sheriff’s fees, publication and other judicial expenses.
Assists lawyers and concerned sheriffs in the inventory of properties about to be attached and coordinates with appropriate groups/departments/offices regarding attached of properties.
Provides clerical support to lawyers and other non-legal staff as needed.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
