i) Current Employment:
Working with Medicap Ltd, one of the best & biggest Soft and Hard Gelatin capsule manufacturing facility in Southeast Asia, as Finance Manager at the Corporate office, Bangkok. Joined the organization as Asst. Manager – Accounts & Costing from December 1999.
Job Responsibilities:
Directly responsible for all the Finance related functions of the company.
In-charge of daily accounting in Accounts, Costing, Account reconciliation, Preparation of monthly management report, VAT reconciliation and liaise with other departments.
Responsible for accounting of Inter-company transactions in overseas offices as well as external parties.
Preparation of Monthly Financial statements including Cash Flow statement for the company and report to the Management.
Preparation of Annual Budget of the Head Office division and subsequent analysis of the Actual vis-a-vis Budgeted.
Monitoring of the Fund Movements.
Arranging for funds from various divisions to meet payout.
Improve and standardize the Manufacturing reporting systems and procedures within the company and throughout all other branches in various countries around the world, with the help of Management Information system (MIS) in Oracle Developer 6.0 version.
In-charge of the Annual Statutory and Interim audits of the company, carried out by M/s Ernst & Young, Thailand.

Consolidation of Subsidiary Company Accounts as per the International Accounting Standards for the overseas Parent company.

Worked with Paharpur Cooling Towers Ltd, biggest manufacturer of industrial cooling towers, based at Calcutta, India, as Asst. Works Accountant in their factory from 1996 to September, 1999.
Job Responsibilities:
Directly responsible for all the Accounting functions of ISO 9002 affiliated factory.
Total control of Stores at the factory and Excise (statutory requirement) related matters of the factory.
Preparation of financial statements of the company and reporting to the Head office monthly.
Interacting with suppliers, scrutinizing and approving of the bills payable.
Reconciliation of Inter-branch (incl Foreign Branch) transactions.
The previous job profile required reporting to Executive Vice President (Finance) at the Head office and Vice President (Works) at the factory.

Worked as Audit Assistant with M/s R.K.Venkatesan & Co, Chartered Accountants, India from 1993 to 1996 and am experienced with maintenance of proper financial transactions, adequate internal control, internal & statutory audits of the company as per the Indian Companies Act, 1956.
Qualifications:
i) Professional:
Associate member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India in 1996.
Diploma in Computer Science form Datapro Information Technology, India and have worked in various Accounting packages viz, Tally, Ace5, Daceasy and am fluent in Lotus Smartsuite’ 97, MS-Office’97, Amipro, mailing sytem Lotus Notes and also have knowledge of programming in COBOL.

Bachelor of Commerce (Honours in Accountany) from Calcutta University, India in 1992.
