All the details will be feed to the database and programmers go in for the "Complete Report" and do their jobs as specified. This BTS not only track the Bugs but also the job done by programmers.
PROJECTS DURING EDUCATION
Project Title : Automated Testjig for functional Testing of Motpro Relay
Time Period : From November 15th to January 15th (2 months)
Client : ALSTOM, Pallavaram, Chennai, India.
Tools : C, Aztec Compiler for C, DOS, Windows NT
Abstract:
The Relay consists of keys in its front-panel through which the codes are entered. By doing so, CPU of the Relay would compare the inputted code with that of in-built codes. The Relay is designed in such away that when the inputted codes are same as that of the in-built one, then it has to take a decision that the Relay would work properly. The code feeding process is for both testing and Programming the Relay simultaneously. The code feeding process was done manually through front panel keys. It took a long time to do that. So a 'C' program for feeding the codes was written and that was saved in the EPROM. The CPU connected to the EPROM would process the instruction and feed the needed data to the front-panel keys of the Relay. This process consumed only a few minutes and accuracy was improved.
